Photocatalyst finishing agent/Multiple functions in one product

 

According to the market demand and customer needs, the company has taken the lead in developing a photocatalytic finishing agent that can be used for textile processing in China. It works well under both

visible and ultraviolet conditions.

                                                                                                                                                                           

 Photocatalyst (photocatalyst) technology has been widely used in the civil field in Japan and other developed countries and regions. After absorbing the ultraviolet rays of sunlight or lighting sources, its active components are oxidized and reduced to produce hydroxyl free radicals and superoxygen free radicals, which can react with organic matter, cut off the molecular binding of organic matter (C-C, C-H, C-N, C=O, N-H, etc.), and decompose the harmful substances and microorganisms in the air into harmless carbon dioxide and water. The working mechanism is shown in the figure below:

 

The following is the performance test of the developed photocatalytic finishing agent applied to textiles:

 

1. Antimicrobial properties of photocatalysts under visible light conditions (Chinese National standard)

 

According to the Chinese national standard GB/T 30706-2014 "Antibacterial test methods and Evaluation of Photocatalytic Antibacterial Materials and Products under Visible Light Irradiation", the antibacterial rate of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in the test samples was 99%, and the light contribution rate was 67%. The test shows that the fabric treated with the photocatalyst finishing agent developed by our company has good antibacterial properties and good washing resistance under visible light conditions.

2. Antibacterial properties of photocatalysts under ultraviolet conditions (Chinese National standard)

 

According to the Chinese national standard -GB/T 23763-2009 "Evaluation of Antibacterial Properties of photocatalytic antibacterial Materials and products", the antibacterial rate of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in the test samples was greater than 99% and 99% (UV contribution value 80%). The test shows that it has more obvious antibacterial properties and good washing resistance under ultraviolet conditions.

3. Antibacterial properties of photocatalysts under ultraviolet conditions (Japanese standard)

According to the daily standard -JIS R 1702:2020 ガラ close adhesion method (under ultraviolet), the antibacterial activity value of Staphylococcus aureus in the test sample was 3.6, and the light contribution rate was 1.9. The antibacterial activity of Bacillus pneumoniae was 3.6 and the contribution rate of light was 1.0. The test results show that the fabric treated with the photocatalytic finishing agent developed by our company has obvious photocatalytic activity, can produce good antibacterial action, and has good washing resistance.

4. Deodorization performance of photocatalyst under ultraviolet conditions (Japanese standard)

According to the daily standard: (I) SEK MARK fiber products certification standard 22. Photocatalyst deodorization test (detection tube method) (under ultraviolet conditions), the deodorization rate of ammonia and acetaldehyde under bright conditions was 99% and 98%; The photocatalytic effect of ammonia was 38%, and that of acetaldehyde was 84%. The test results show that the fabric treated with the photocatalytic finishing agent developed by our company has obvious photocatalytic activity, can produce good deodorization effect, and has good washing resistance.
